“After taking some time to think about what is in the best interest of our state and this new organization, our colleges and universities, the faculty, staff, presidents and, of course, our students, I have decided to submit my resignation to Board Chairman Lewis J. Robinson this morning,”

Robert Kennedy, Outgoing President of the Board of Regents 10-12-2012

Next Question:  Are more resignations coming or do they simply throw this guy under the bus and talk about how cool the weather is and whether there was frost on the pumpkins?

Was Colleen Flannagan Johnson really married with Dan officiating?
Did she really work for Chris-almost-a-felon Chris Dodd?
WTF is going on in HARTFORD???!!!!!
I have joked (sort of) about the corruption of Dan Malloy but he really is looking like John Rowland or a common Irish mobster.
Sheesh! If I could,I would live remotely in another state!

Section 4.1 is waived on a five year contract. Is he walking away or is there more to the compensation story?

I assume that is only the 120 notice – he still have a sweet contract they have to buy him out of

Did she register for her wedding at the state capitol?
    — 20,000 for Public Affairs Director Colleen Flanagan Johnson, whose pay would rise from $130,000 to $150,000 as she also assumed the role of system chief of staff.
Oh! Governor Dan…you shouldn’t have! How lovely! Beats the hell out of other shit I got from Crate and Barrel !
And hubby? Working for a lobbying firm in Hartford? can we manage to direct a little business his way as well?
Come on Dan! Where is the honesty and transparency? Same old-same old in Hartford. Must be something in the water…but that does not explain your history in Stamford, does it? We KNOW there is something in the water in parts of that town!

Oh! Just a note. Working remotely in another state…you do not pay Connecticut taxes. Nice work if you can get it.
How about his cars? Were they registered in Connecticut so he can pay LOCAL and state taxes for the privilege of riding these roads? Like Dan…ummm, strike that. He is DRIVEN and prefers to fly helicopters and jets. Did he get to explore the wonders of ZONE PRICING for his gas or did the Regents have a special pump, worthy of a Malloy Monarch.
