” Policy requires that college presidents who have been with the system for more than three years be given a 12-month notice, with pay, if they will no longer run the school. Policy also allows for an “accelerated” payment of that 12 months pay.”
I worked for a company for FIFTEEN YEARS and when I gave notice they gave me a swift kick in the ass and told me not to come back!!
No pity for Dan’s pal, but if the CC Presidents were not threatened would ANYONE have said anything at all?!

Since when do you give a raise and then take it back?! Make you wonder what else is going on “under the radar” up in Hartford.Dan was probably hoping that nobody would notice (sort of like Adamowski?) and his buddy would sneak a fatter paycheck.
The response is chilling…or is it just the weather?
