What are the chances of incorporating W/W as a bidness, maybe a consulting/public affairs firm (or expanding political consulting business, threatening to move to the Carolinas or Georgia for leverage maybe?). Get a next 5 bribe for millions promising ‘x’ number of jobs. Hire ‘x’ number of contributors at a token wage, say $200/week. I’ll even volunteer to be one of the requisite ‘consultants’ at 5 or 10 times the base rate!
Nah! Never-mind! Starting to sound like turning Jon into Vallas/Pryor lite!

Having been recently not so gently ushered into retirement things are a bit tight… but looking around at those not fortunate enough for that to be an option (including my brother suffering same affliction as forced me out but doesn’t have the choice) I’m not complaining.
Besides, having a place to vent (without the ensuing spam that invariably follows posts on some other blogs) saves a bit on therapists and meds…

I hope that you can get enough donations so that you do not have to sell out your content to the powers that be, like a Connecticut junkie but I have my doubts.Newspaper empires failed (or were destoryed by design) so why not blogs that swim against the current?
