If
this hadn’t been made public, the psychologists and the neighborhood sped teachers would be madly rewriting IEP’s
on EasyIEP, because they’d have to cover this deficit.

The Vallas Team has pulled the special education consultants who were familiar with these student’s needs and transfered them back to the classroom. The neighborhood sped teachers who are now responsible for these students have never met them, don’t have the training for their diverse needs, and have never been given information about any of their previous placements and what they can, or cannot provide.

The Vallas Team tried a crapshoot. These special education students are the meek with few protectors – except persons such as yourself. Thank you, Jon.

But, after all Vallas’ excuses, the truth is if it weren’t for your watching over the budget in obsessive detail, many sped children would have had far fewer services this year. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Oh what a tangled web they weave…I finally have figured out why all those assistants, and assistants to the assistants, and mayoral assistants, etc are hired with publicity work experience (I originally thought they were great “words with friends” partners. You need something to do to pass the day.) But it really seems their job is to cover the ass of Paul Vallas when he inevitably screws up, gets caught lying…or have to spin doctor his previous paths of destruction etc. and that, for once, might actually be a full time occupation.

The thing about lying and liars is that one finds a need to cover the first lie with yet another lie until all credibility is lost in the confusion.
Pinnochio should be mandatory reading in preparation for future tests of character.
